The bascinet is a close-fitting helmet with excellent glancing properties. Several options are available. You may choose whether the skull is top point (shown) or medium point. Rear point skull is available at extra cost. Vervelles and lining holes can be added for attaching an aventail and period lining. You can see an attached aventail here.
