German WWI ID Discs
(Hundesmarken)
There was a wide variety of styles of stamping on each of
the ID disc patterns. Some relatively common ones for each style
are shown below.
When
ordering, please provide both the PATTERN of disc that you want and the
preferred STYLE of stamping, as shown in these examples.
(I
will be offering some other styles shortly. If you want a style
you don't see here, please inquire. If I can do it I will.)
PATTERN 1878 DISC-OVAL

The 1915 pattern probably had the most variation in stamping styles.
